This 200 Hours SivaOm Yoga Teacher Trainingby SivaOm School of Yoga is designed for those who seek soul enlightenment and deep wisdom.
When we speak of Yoga within the spiritual sense, we can safely say that this cosmic science is as old as the universe and encaptures the very essence of the universe itself. This system of yoga which has come to be referred to as SivaOm Yoga allows us to harmoniously unite the internal shiv and shakti and having achieved this divine union we proceed towards the ultimate goal of our human existence, to merge the jivatma to back to the brahman.
We teach SivaOm Yoga which is a practice of yoga developed by Guruji Shri Siddhartha Shiv Khanna through the inspiration of Adi Guru Bhagwan Shiv. This practice includes a mystical union of the 4 main branches of yoga (raja – karma – jnan – bhakti) combined in its original teachings from Ancient India, into a single seminar of 90 minutes. A full application of this method among various other things is taught during the 200 Hours SivaOm Yoga Teacher Training.
This system is based upon various mechanisms available to all or any living creatures and has been carefully combined together keeping in mind the diverse kind and type of individuals. it’s perfect for every human, it’s for people of all ages, it’s for people of all times, those that have lived in the past, those living presently and even those that are yet to be born. it’s suitable for people of all character and every temperament. There will be at least one aspect of the practice in which the student will identify with and through that one aspect of the practice he or she will become self-realized and god realized. Such is the nature of this practice that it has the power to liberate the soul and provides freedom from all kinds of suffering.
To that person whose body is hungry, we give him the gift of food and water. thereto, a person whose mind is hungry, we give him the gift of knowledge and wisdom, but even greater than of these gifts is that the gift we give to the soul that’s hungry which gift is of SivaOm Yoga. this is a gift from the universe and surely must be shared with all mankind for it belongs to all of us equally.
This 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training is suitable for any person of any age, including those who are already teachers and wish to go deeper into the roots of yoga, as well as for those who wish to become teachers. We will focus on much higher and spiritual elements and aspects of yoga in addition to aasan (posture), mantra, mudra, pranayama practice. *Important Note: The information given below Is A Road Map Towards The Yoga Tree As Per Ancient Vedic And Yogic Siddhanta In Brief and is also the course structure recommended by the Government Of India. A Detailed And Elaborate Understanding Is Provided During 200 Hours SivaOm Yoga Teacher Training.
Yoga works on the level of one’s body, mind, and soul. This has given rise to four broad classifications of Yoga: Karma Yoga where we utilize the body; Jnāna Yoga where we utilize the mind; Bhakti Yoga where we utilize the emotion and Raja Yoga where we utilize the energy. Each system of Yoga we practice falls within the gamut of one or more of these categories.
The four schools of Yoga (Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Raja Yoga) An understanding of Sankhya philosophy from time to time.
The concepts related to Jnana Yoga or the yoga of knowledge and wisdom.
The above-mentioned curriculum of the 4 main paths shall be covered in-depth with a focus upon the following subjects
History of yoga
The practice of Yoga is believed to have started with the very dawn of civilization. The science of yoga has its origin thousands of years ago. Scientifically speaking historical evidence of the existence of Yoga were seen from even times before human history was recorded, and thereafter till Patanjali’s period. A detailed study and research will be presented during this module.
How To be a Yogi
Swami Abhedananda explains the laws, principles, and methods of yoga practice, based on the teachings of Patanjali. Includes chapter. Was Christ a Yogi? This seminar is mainly about lectures given at the turn of the previous century. In his time, Swami Adhedananda would attract some 4000 people to his lectures in New York.
Studio Setting Teaching
We teach SivaOm Yoga which is a practice of yoga developed by Guruji Shri Siddhartha Shiv Khanna through the inspiration of Adi Guru Bhagwan Shiv. This practice includes a mystical union of the 4 main branches of yoga (raja – karma – jnan – bhakti) combined in its original teachings from Ancient India, into a single seminar of 90 minutes. A full application of this method among various other things will be taught so that you can teach yoga in any environment (studio/ workshop/retreat).
Mantra Yoga
Mantra yoga is that branch of yoga where the science of sound vibration is used to achieve yoga. Mantras are used as tools to the wandering mind, steering it to an ambient poise for meditation. Repetition of mantras completely engages the mind, offering a means of getting closer to the divinity within. Chanting of mantras produces positive vibrations, bringing benefits to the one who chants as well as the one who listens. Various other important elements such as when, where, how along with rules and protocals of mantra yoga will be discussed.
Karma Yoga
The trick is to learn how to work in a way that doesn’t cause more misery. Karma Yoga is a mental discipline that allows one to carry out one’s duties as a service to the entire world, as a path to enlightenment. By working in the real world, by giving up attachment to work, we can obtain spiritual liberation. We shall discuss the concept of Karma which are similar to those given in the Bhagavada-Gita, and single out Siddhartha as a primary example of this form of yoga. Main study is based on Karma In Its Effect On Character Chapter. The Secret of Work, what is the Duty of an individual. Relevance and importance of Non-Attachment and The main Ideal of Karma-Yoga.
Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti Yoga is a real genuine search for yoga with the universe. A search beginning, continuing, and ending in Love. One single moment of the madness of extreme love to God brings us eternal freedom. When a man gets it, he loves all, hates none; he becomes satisfied forever. Bhakti yoga is a spiritual path described in ancient philosophy that is intended to foster love, faith, and surrender to the Supreme. It is a means to realize God, and is the easiest way for the common person because it doesn’t involve extensive physical yogic practices. We shall discuss during this discourse the Definition of Bhakti, the philosophy of Isvar, spiritual realization, the aim of Bhakti-Yoga, and the need for a Guru. Along with that, we will elaborate on the qualifications of the aspirant and various other elements.
History of Mahabharat And Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
The Bhagavad Gita, “The Song of the Lord”, is the best known of all the Indian scriptures. We will discuss Gita in its historical aspect and bring out the universality and timelessness of its teachings. Each Chapter introductions give clear explanations of the key concepts of that chapter. The Bhagavad Gita opens dramatically on a battlefield, as the warrior Arjuna turns in anguish to his spiritual guide, Sri Krishna, for answers to the fundamental questions of life. However, the Gita is not what it seems – it’s not a dialogue between two historical figures at the dawn of Indian history. “The battlefield is a perfect backdrop, but Gita’s subject is the war within each of us, the struggle for self-mastery that every human being must wage” to live a life that is meaningful, fulfilling, and worthwhile.
Vigyan Bhairava Tantra
Vigyan Bhairava Tantra is one of yoga’s most important and key texts. It is an ancient text on yoga and meditation revealed by God centuries ago. It was written to show mankind how to reach a state of enlightenment. The Vigyan Bhairava Tantra contains a great deal of practical wisdom. It shows people how to overcome suffering and find peace and joy in their lives. It is the perfect guide to lead you towards enlightenment and liberation.

Hatha Yoga Pradipika
The Hatha Yoga Pradipika is an ancient text and is one of the earliest treatises on Hatha Yoga; all the modern books are based on it. This book is intended as an aid for those who wish to learn the advanced practices of Hatha Yoga to advance their kundalini from a qualified guru. Many of the instructions given here have been purposely veiled by the original writers, others need elaboration and may require the guidance of a guru for correct understanding. Some of these practices are not for beginners and that to violate this caution is to put the psyche at risk. Therefore we shall strictly follow these instructions and the guidance of your guru.
Patanjali Yoga Sutra
Patanjali’s yoga sutras, written almost 2700 years ago, is one of the most important and comprehensive text on the theory and practice of yoga. From concentration, its spiritual uses and practice, to manifestation and the process of attaining liberation, the aphorisms state the path to self-realization. One of the key texts of classical yoga, we will dive deep into the Patanjali’s yoga sutras and try to will learn this text through the method of studying in-depth commentary of each sutra. The concepts of Ida, Pingala and the Sushumna the central channel of energy running along the spine. Seven major chakras, and its correlation to states of consciousness, Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Guru Shri Siddhartha Shiv Khanna ( योग गुरु श्री सिद्धार्थ शिव खन्ना)
Was invited in my capacity as a Yoga Guru to the state visit of His Excellency the Indian President Shri Ram Nath Kovind to Greece
Born in an influential, traditional and modern Hindu family in New Delhi, I was introduced to meditation and chanting at a very young age along with the family household practice of Bhakti Yoga (Yoga of surrendering oneself to God) and Karma Yoga (Yoga of selfless acts of goodness towards everyone and everything). Having gone to one of the best private school of the nation I became a professional swimmer and also went on to pursue a degree in fashion retail and merchandise management after having spent 18 months in Australia after I turned 18.
The big change happened when I was invited to take part in a reality show called Big Switch in India. It was a struggle of a unique kind and I won the show. The biggest win was the changes it brought in me after my non-stop interaction with the kids from slums during the duration of the show.
I went on to handle my father’s construction business and I also became the business head of a fashion label for a short bit after this. All of that and much more at the age of 25, in a way I had it all and yet happiness wasn’t a permanent state of existence. This made me think and realize that there have to be things beyond money, beyond fame, beyond power since none of this can keep me happy, there must be something which will keep me happy all the time.
During these times of wanderings and wonderings, I met Samara Kamui Bodhisatva on an online forum and he initiated me to meditation and taught me many important techniques of healing myself and others.
Was invited by the Indian Embassy to conduct a traditional yoga class celebrating the 4th international yoga day, I’m in the front row on right sitting with the Ambassador Mrs. Shamma Jain in the centre and the Head of Chancery Mr Gopal Ram Varma on the left.
Thereafter two very big events took place. The first one was the “Holy Royal Snan of Mauni Amavasya during the Mahakumbh Mela”, this was the first time in life I felt god inside of me and outside of me.
We Hindus believe that by taking a bath in the meeting point of the 3 ancient rivers of India during the Brahma Muhurta (moment of creation) when Jupiter is in the 1st sign Aries and the Sun and the Earth’s moon are in the 10th sign Capricorn; or Jupiter in the 2nd sign Taurus and the Sun in Capricorn, a person gets Moksh (freedom from all suffering, freedom from the cycle of birth death and rebirth, freedom from the universal laws of space, time and karma).
That moment was perhaps my first real taste of yoga, it was a union and of the body with the mind, the mind with the soul and the souls with Shiv consciousness and no words are sufficient enough to express that infinite bliss which I felt in each single breath and moment of existence.
Letter of Appreciation by the Indian Embassy in Greece for jointly organising and conducting the International Day of Yoga 2020
The second big and perhaps the final step towards burying the old me, but this step was more intense in terms of what would happen. In Kedarnath jyotirlinga, high in the upper Himalayas an epiphany happened (perhaps ill tell you the full story one day), this sealed my fate, it was divine intervention. I came back and renounced my work.
After, I studied and practiced Raja yoga (the yoga of the self) under the guidance of my Guru Ji from India Shri Yogi Anoop Ji. At this time I was doing only two things, practicing and studying, from 6 till 11 I would do asan practice and then the rest of the day I would read scriptures and ask questions from my guruji. Gyan Yoga (Yoga of knowledge) was feeding my brain and Raja Yoga was feeding my body but much too my joy life was completely changing on physical, mental and spiritual levels. I became balanced, stable and was closer than ever to the self-realization and God-realization.
Upon my gurus advice, who urged me to teach yoga to others in the world, I have been teaching yoga in Greece. I teach students both basic and advanced teacher training courses so that we can create a whole new generation of teachers.
In my present-day, i spend most of my time in Greece assisting seekers to find peace and reach the ultimate state of bliss. From time to time I’m busy expounding the ancient scriptures and viewpoints from my experiences to seekers so that they may achieve self-realization and God-realization and reach the ultimate goal of the souls union with Shiv Consciousness.
Was invited in my capacity as a Yoga Guru to the state visit of His Excellency the Indian President Shri Ram Nath Kovind to Greece am in second row, 2nd from left
“Yoga is a holistic spiritual journey first to the universe inside of you and then to the universe outside of you, a spiritual journey which connects the purush to the Atma and the atma to the brahmaatma… There are hundreds if not thousands of human benefits of yoga. It provides you a new outlook at life, it gives you the opportunity to live to the fullest and be your real self without getting bothered about what others feel or think of you, but the main aim of yoga is self-realization leading to enlightenment leading to moksha, the liberation from the cycle of birth and re-birth”.
“Yoga teachers or those who follow the highest spiritual path dedicate themselves to serving people. We are servants who are here to serve ”.
“My real guru are the Vedas, my real teacher is Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, my real refuge is Bhagwan Shiv Ji under whose guidance and with whose name I begin everything do everything and complete everything”.
